Privacy Policy

Short version: almost everything you enter stays on your phone. The only things that ever leave it are described below, and only when the feature that needs them is actually in use.

What's stored on your device

By default, all of this lives only in local storage on your phone and is never sent anywhere:

• Your readings: the cards you drew, any question or notes you wrote, tags, bottom card and jumper cards if you use them
• Any custom spreads you build
• Your name, if you gave one
• Your tarot experience level and reminder preference
• Your relationship status and birth month/day, if you chose to add them (month and day only, never a year)
• Personal notes you've written on individual cards

None of this requires an account. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

What leaves your device, and when

Fig's Take and Fig's Daily Wisdom

These are the two features that generate an interpretation for you rather than just showing a fixed meaning. When you use one, the relevant reading content is sent to Anthropic, whose Claude models generate the response: the cards drawn, their positions, your question and notes, and (only for readings marked as being about yourself, never for someone else's) your relationship status or sun sign if you've provided them. It's used only to produce that one reply and isn't used to build a profile of you.

Subscriptions

Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google, not by us. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your subscription status, not your payment details.

Cloud backup (subscribers only)

Free use of the app never touches this. If you subscribe and choose to back up your readings, we create an account for you (email plus a one-time code, no password) and your readings, custom spreads, and profile sync to a database we run on Supabase. It's private to your account. Nothing another user could see, even accidentally.

What we don't do

• No advertising, and no ad or analytics trackers of any kind in the app
• We don't sell or share your data with anyone for marketing purposes
• We don't build a profile of you beyond what's needed to run the feature you're using

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, they're scheduled locally on your phone. We don't know when your phone shows you a notification, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.

Deleting your data

Local data: uninstall the app. Cloud backup data, if you've subscribed and used it: email us and we'll delete your account and everything tied to it.

Children

Little Witch isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We're a small operation; nothing here happens without a real reason.
